Future Events

We’re so very happy that 2021 lockdown easing means we can meet up again.

March 29th

We’re meeting at Royal Albert DLR for a gentle 4 mile walk from Beckton Park to Woolwich, following section 15 of the Capital Ring.

April 5th

City of London skyscrapers – a 3 mile stroll taking in the vertiginous sights and sites of the City on Easter Monday (please bring chocolate!). Following this route.

April 14th

We’re out to rural Hertfordshire for a 4.5 mile hike to Tewin village (and back) from  North Welwyn station. This route.

April 21st

It’s this month’s biggie – 10 miles, largely rural, on section 15 of the London Loop: Hatch End to Elstree. No chances to drop out until about half way round.

April 29th

We’re on to  section 1 of the Capital Ring for a 7 mile hike Woolwich to Falconwood. Bus stops on the way round so plenty of opportunities to leave before the end.

  • Walking the Thames path in London (in 8 stages)

  • East London Art walk
  • Old Rotherhithe & Southwark
  • Social and healthy, with a café visit at the end.
  • Suitable for people of all abilities and fitness levels.
  • Free! We can also cover travel costs for people on very low incomes.
  • Takes place 4 or 5 times each month across London and the countryside beyond.
  • So why not put on your walking shoes and come join us!
