Future Events

March 5th

Howard will be leading a 4.5 mile walk along the trail of the Heathwall – from Battersea round to Vauxhall. Should take around 3 hours and be mud free! Meet at Clapham Junction.

March 15th

Meet at Greenford station for a 5.5 mile walk along Section9 of the Capital Ring – through Paradise Fields wetlands, Grand Union Canal towpath, Horsenden Hill, Harrow-on-the-Hill and finishing at South Kenton station.

March 25th

Howard will be leading the next episode of his exploration of London’s hidden or lost rivers. Today it’s 3 miles along the course of the Black Ditch, in East London. We’ll be meeting at Stepney Green tube station.

March 30th

Section 9 of the London Loop trail: Kingston Bridge to Hatton Cross – join us as we go West on an 8.5 mile walk through Bushy Park, Waterhouse Woodland Gardens and Hounslow Heath. No hills but may be mud. Plenty of bus stops and stations along the way if the distance seems a bit long for you.

  • Walking the Thames path in London (in 8 stages)

  • East London Art walk
  • Old Rotherhithe & Southwark
  • Social and healthy, with a café visit at the end.
  • Suitable for people of all abilities and fitness levels.
  • Free! We can also cover travel costs for people on very low incomes.
  • Takes place 2 or 3 times each month across London, and sometimes beyond.
  • So why not put your walking shoes on and come and join us!
