Kathryn Dombrowicz - Director

Kathryn Dombrowicz

I was born and raised in Ireland and briefly explored some other countries before settling in London several years ago.  I initially worked in the leisure and commercial sectors before retraining in the mind sciences and I entered the therapeutic world over 15 years ago as an Assistant Psychologist.  Since then I have worked in, and managed, specialist centres which support adults and young people with difficulties such as depression, anxiety, stress, eating disorders and body image.  I continued to train during this time and I am an experienced practitioner of a range of therapeutic models.

I joined River House in 2009 as Director of the service and my role includes managing all aspects of the centre - operational, financial and strategic (in conjunction with the Board of Trustees). I feel privileged to work at River House as I am continuously inspired and enthused by our members.

I am also Chair and and Board Trustee of  Forum Link (

Since this time, I have worked as a Support & Development worker at River House.
